We’re delighted to announce two recent promotions;  Pearse Kelly  to Principal Consultant and  Peter Dunn  to Senior Consultant. Find out how Pearse and Peter got into recruitment and what they enjoy most about their career at Eden Scott. How did you get into IT recruitment? Pearse: I had previously worked in software sales and was using a number of different agencies to find work. Many of them recommended the transition into recruitment, so I decided to give it a go and 8 years later I'm still doing it. Peter: I got into recruitment by accident. After studying law for five years, I decided I wanted to progress on a different career track. After researching my options, I successfully started my first job in recruitment. What do you enjoy most about your job? Pearse: The job is very rewarding. Working hard with a great candidate to get them their dream job and then watching them develop and grow is hugely satisfying. Peter: I have to agree, although it’s a bit clichéd, I enjoy putting people to work and making a positive difference in their lives. What's the best thing about working at Eden Scott? Pearse: I enjoy the flexibility of being able to work across different markets and locations. Plus the Eden Scott team are all really social and know how to have a good laugh! Peter: Eden Scott is a really supportive and collaborative culture where individuals are encouraged to progress and have their achievements recognised.
